There are thousands of supermarkets running in the United States of America. They provide multiple services to the customers and residents of America. Buc-ee’s is a unique kind of chain. However, they have been in this business for years and are growing with the days passing by. It is an American chain of gas stations, Tesla Superchargers, and country stores. The owner and creator of this chain are Arch “Beaver” Aplin III, and their headquarter is in Lake Jackson, Texas. Moreover, it was founded in Clute, Texas, in 1982. Later, he expanded the chain after its first travel in 2001 to Luling, Texas. Although, if we talk about outside expansion, it was in 2018. They opened in South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Kentucky. Additionally, they also plan to open new locations like Winconsin, Colorado, Virginia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Missouri.

Moreover, to providing fuel, snacks (especially beef jerky and sweets), brisket, baked goods, and other products, tacos, fresh sandwiches, souvenirs, and travel accessories, the franchise is well known for the size of its outlets. The chain is especially well known for its mascot, spotless restrooms, and policy forbidding 18-wheelers from entering its sites.
The chain is working hard day and night to provide the best customer service possible and is developing loyal clients. Moreover, it is also seen as one of the country’s important and favorite gas stations. Although we know that bathrooms are the best way to attract clients, they have one of the best and cleanest bathrooms in the country. For this work, they also received the “ Best Restroom in America” award in 2012.
History
In 1982, founder Arch “Beaver” Aplin and a partner founded their first shop in Clute, Texas (it is still open). Aplin used his childhood nickname, Buck, the name of his Labrador Retriever, and the attractiveness of Ipana toothpaste’s animated mascot, Bucky, the beaver, to create the name Buc- ee’s. Aplin was born in Southeast Texas, but his father was from Harrisonburg, Louisiana, and his grandparents still lived there.
In 2001, Buc-expanded ee’s and established its first travel agency in Luling, Texas.
In New Braunfels, Texas, near Interstate 35, Buc opened its biggest travel center in 2012. At 68,000 square feet, the convenience store in New Braunfels is the biggest in the world (6,300 m2). The store has 1,000 parking spaces, 64 ice freezers, 83 restrooms, 31 cash registers, four Icee machines, 80 fountain dispensers, and 120 gasoline stations. Also, it sells water toys and tubing for visitors to the adjacent Guadalupe River. However, according to Cintas, the shop in New Braunfels, Texas, has the “Best Bathroom in America” for 2012.
These kinds of stores not only grow their businesses but also strive to provide the best to their customers. They think they are getting money from the public, and should provide quality products.
